The Oculus Quest 2 Is an Upgrade

As you have probably heard, Facebook won’t be called “Facebook” for much longer. It’s name has changed to Meta. This is why the Oculus Quest 2 will take on the name of Meta Quest 2.
When you link to your Quest 2 to Facebook, you must provide your real name. You cannot use a dummy name in your Facebook account when you want to link an Oculus Quest 2 to it.
Be aware that Facebook may ban your account if you try this. That has been reported by some users, in any case.
Another Change is Coming
To make things even more confusing, Facebook has recently announced a bit of a backpedal. You won’t have to log-in your Quest 2 through Facebook forever. At some point in 2022, a new policy began.
