It has been confirmed by Oculus CTO John Carmack that the Quest will be made to support Oculus Go apps “by way of a compatibility layer that makes Quest report as a Go and emulate the Go controller for old apps”.
He further claims this feature will added later this year and will pave way of supporting hundreds of app on Oculus Quest.
However, nobody is sure if the entire Oculus Go content will come on Quest. A simpler way of doing this would be asking developers of Go apps to allow their apps run on Quest.
The Oculus Quest will Gain Oculus Go Simulation. The Oculus Quest is bound to receive Oculus go emulations later this year. This new feature will leverage VR users to play all the games on Oculus Go on a new and improved Headset known as Oculus Quest.
